This paper presents discussions pertaining to pedagogical practice in the teaching of history in the present context, the use of technology as a resource and methodology. We understand the use of technologies in education not only digital tools such as Internet, games or social networks to boost classes, but also the use of various audiovisual resources in fostering both teaching and in historical research. Accordingly, we will indicate the educational possibilities through the use of various technologies, among which we highlight: computer, iconography, movies, music, archives, museums, maps and string literature. The inclusion of these resources in teaching is significant, especially by stimulating the participation and interaction of students in knowledge construction. This perspective was incorporated into the guidelines proposed by the National Curriculum, as regards the teaching of history in elementary and secondary level. The theoretical framework refers to works whose approach is similar to the proposal of this article.Downloads
