Abstract

This paper aims to present a possibility for history teaching, making use of chronicles written by Brazilian writer Rachel de Queiroz in newspapers and magazines of the first half of the twentieth century. Previously, we present an author short biography, focusing her context of production, then we briefly analyze the selected chronicles and point out opportunities to work with students. This document provides a personal reading on certain topics, and also a broader critical and historical perception of the world.
