Law 10.639/03 and its applicability: an experience report on video production from an anti-racist perspective – IFAP Campus Macapá

This article aims to report on an interdisciplinary experience developed by teachers from different disciplines in the area of Human Sciences at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Amapá (IFAP) - Campus Macapá, with actions focused on ethnic-racial issues implemented as a Teaching Project in November 2022. To do so, we briefly discuss the historicity of Law 10.639/03 and its difficulties to be implemented in educational institutions. In one of the sections, we also address the importance of educational institutions in the development of practices supported by quota policies, so that anti-racist education can be truly implemented involving the various social actors that are part of the institution, thus being able to reverberate these practices outside the school environment. As methodology, we used bibliographic and qualitative research.
