THE PRINCIPLES OF GOOD LIVING IN THE QUILOMBOLA COMMUNITY OF SÍTIO ARRUDA IN ARARIPE – CEARÁ

The article demonstrates that the principles conceptualized as Well Living are present in the speeches of the residents of the quilombola community Sítio Arruda, located in Araripe, Ceará. From a literature review on the topic and the analysis of a series of documentaries available on the YouTube platform, in which some residents narrate their experiences and stories of the community, it was possible to identify and analyze the ways in which Bem Viver is experienced at Sítio Arruda. Among the principles of Good Living identified in the speeches of the residents, the following stand out: the appreciation of the practice of agriculture; the rational use of water; valuing the knowledge of women and elders; the defense of identity; the complementary relationship between human beings and Nature; the appreciation of reciprocity and work as factors for the growth of the community.
