The article aims to understand the mobility of the territorial of labor and the lower quality of life in the emerald mines of Campos Verdes/GO, Pindobaçu/BA and Nova Era/MG. The methodology is based on qualitative research procedures, such as field research, participant observation, and fieldnotes. The Geography of Labor served as a guideline for theoretical and methodological issues. The mines were discovered at different times, but since 1988 mineral activities have been taking place simultaneously in these three locations. Although the mining processes occur simultaneously, each mine has its own particularities, ranging from the quality of the stones to labor-related activities. It is precisely these singularities that have created an interesting process of territorial labor mobility. Consequently, this triangular mobility has generated consequences in the territory, in society, and in labor, which are investigated in this article.
