In 1959, Antônio Bispo dos Santos or Nego Bispo, as he is also known, was born in São João do Piauí, in the Saco-Curtume quilombo. In addition to being a great quilombola leader, he is a farmer of the land and of words, so when we refer to Antônio Bispo, we have to highlight his brilliant way of narrating, writing and creating poetry. Listening to him is learning about the ancestral experiences of his community and about the complex networks that, due to the strength of interactions between humanity and nature, make us capable of bringing together these spheres of life, to the point of denying any distinction between one and the other. .
