PLURIACTIVITY AMONG FAMILY FARMERS IN PITANGA – PR

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the pluriactivity of farmers in the municipality of Pitanga PR and understand the importance and socioeconomic contribution of the fair to them. The work was developed based on a literature review: Articles, books, book chapters, and other secondary sources of research. Furthermore, the work required research in primary sources, with interviews with farmers, and the Secretariat of Family Agriculture of the municipality. During the research, it was noticed that one of how pluriactivity manifests itself in the family farming of Pitanga is by marketing products (dairy, sausages, handicrafts and smoked) by farmers at the producer's fair.
