GENDER UNDER PERSPECTIVE: JOANA MARIA PEDRO
Abstract
Professor Joana Maria Pedro has a degree in History from Universidade Vale do Itajaí-SC, a Master's degree in History from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, and a PhD from the University of São Paulo. She is a researcher at the Institute for Gender Studies -IEG and the Laboratory for Gender and History Research-LEGH, at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. The professor researches, among so many topics: women and democracies, women's social history, memory, oral history, comparative history and gender relations. The interview was held in August and sought to address themes about feminisms, democracies, changes in the historiographical field, the advance of conservatism and relevant processes in the researcher's production.
