Abstract

This article analyses tales from the anthology: “Intimidades: dez contos eróticos de escritoras brasileiras e portuguesas” (2005), organized by Luisa Coelho. This collecting tales, composed only by female-authorship texts, presents ction related to sexual themes in line with gender endowment issues (gender), resulting in a literary project that aims to show the eroticism written by women. When get into the universe of erotic productions, which were in a long time just on male’s command (Ria LEMAIRE, 1994), women changes the enunciation of eroticism position from object to subject and allow themselves to approach to transgressive aspects on their own control. The aim of this article is to analyze situations in which the erotic is built in situations bordering on death, consequently causing transgression actions, breaking interdicts, existential and loving conicts relating with the discontinuity and continuity dyad (Georges BATAILLE, 2017). Thereby, it is considered that these tales constitute narrative strategies in representation of eroticism and its transforming experience, shows resonance with the unity of life (Eros) and the death’s force (Thanatos), as well as establish ruptures in gender performativities (BUTLER, 2003).
