Abstract

Benito Bisso Schmidt holds a bachelor's and master's degree in History from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and a PhD in Social Labor History from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Benito has been a professor at the Department of History at UFRGS since 1994, working in undergraduate and graduate teaching activities, various research and extension projects, as well as providing consultancy for collections, exhibitions, film productions, among others. In addition, Benito was president of the National Association of History (ANPUH) between 2011 and 2013.
