Call for Papers, Issue No. 1 of 2026 - Sapatonices and Lesbianism: Intersections and Ways of Living

The dossier “Lesbianism and Lesbianism: Intersections and Ways of Living” aims to give visibility to the multiple ways of thinking, living, and producing knowledge about lesbianism, bringing together contributions that engage with markers such as gender, race, class, religion, generation, and territory. Amidst the growth of LGBTQIA+ productions in Brazil, this call for papers seeks to strengthen this field and encourage interdisciplinary approaches that highlight the complexity of its narratives, modes of existence, and epistemologies. We invite authors to submit articles, essays, manifestos, interviews, reviews, and translations—in Portuguese, Spanish, or English—to contribute to a body of reflections that broaden and deepen research dedicated to lesbian experiences and their unfolding.

Submission Deadline: December 10, 2025 to March 30, 2026
