Abstract

From the presentation of linguistic discussions on the category “body” (lîp in Middle High German) and a brief presentation of the masculinity concept, this paper aims to analyze the discursive constructions about the figure of Trevrizent of Parzival by Wolfram von Eschenbach, in order to reflect and rethink about male models in this book.
