Résumé

O objetivo deste texto é refletir sobre a nova história política e o marxismo. Faz-se uma síntese do percurso da história política, dando ênfase a sua fase atual, inaugurada na década de 1970. As relações e conflitos entre as duas correntes emergem ao longo da abordagem para, ao final, serem retomadas com vistas a identificar possíveis pontos de aproximação e diálogo entre as duas propostas historiográficas. Palavras-chave: Nova História Política, marxismo. Abstract: The aim this article is to analyze the new political history and marxism. First, there is a summary of the trajectory of the political history, with emphasis on its current period, beginning in the 1970’s. The relations and conflicts between the two theories emerge during this analysis and, in the end, possible points of approximation and dialogue between the two proposed historical studies are identified.
