This text reflects on the viability of development projects Geisel (1974-79) government for the energy sector in Brazil through the research conducted by the Coordination of Postgraduate Engineering, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE / UFRJ Programs ). Expected to recover, particularly through the criticism that this institution has produced relatively those projects - which helped establish - what form that energy policy acquires this period of dictatorship. In order to grasp the social interests expressed in the consolidation of political decisions that have bound the model of energy development adopted in the country and that prevails to this day.Downloads
