Abstract

This study aims to analyze, from the articulation of some theoretical proposals on text and reading comprehension, the underlying text conception in Spanish as foreign language in manuals focusing on the observation of written comprehension proposals. The different conceptions of text from the emergence of Textual Linguistics (LT) have been accompanying not only the development of the discipline, but also its didactic transposition in the various instruments for the teaching and learning of the Foreign Language. Starting from the hypothesis that most spanish teaching manuals approach reading comprehension from  sense decoding perspective, and in order to identify the text conceptions from the proposed reading comprehension activities, it is our interest to propose a series of elements of analysis based on the theoretical conceptions of Sociodiscursive Interactionism (ISD), elements that we believe are inseparable from the text understood as empirical verbal production of a culture in its linguistic, sociohistorical and cognitive dimension. This work is framed in some tendencies of study of the theoretical conceptions of the text underlying in manuals and curricular documents of foreign languages (Miranda, 2015), and its main motivation is the need to propose, from the theoretical perspective of the ISD, tools that impact on the forms of didactic intervention in the area of ??foreign languages, focusing mainly on the comprehension processes.
