The aim of this article is to present one of the four discursive representations built in the enunciative inscriptions of four students with special educational needs (SEN) who participated in our master's research, under the guidance of Professor Maria de Fátima Fonseca Guilherme. These representations are built when the students talk about their process of learning a foreign language. To carry out this work, we are theoretically based on Applied Linguistics (AL), on French Discourse Analysis (FDA) – conceived by the works of Michel Pêcheux – and on Dialogic Discourse Analysis (DDA), based on the works of the Bakhtin Circle.
