Abstract

In this article we try to analyze an argumentative text writing activity present in the textbook of the 11th class of Basic Education in Angola. We start from the theoretical assumptions of Amossy (2011 and 2016), Charaudeau (2010), Bakhtin (2003) and, still, Maingueneau (2015). Methodologically, in a qualitative perspective, we focus on the section called writing workshop related to the argumentative text present in a unit of the Portuguese language textbook of Angola. The analysis shows that the LDLP in Angola, especially what constitutes the corpus of this article, does not yet provide the necessary guidelines for the student to develop his argument in a persuasive way.
