THE DIALOGICAL CONSTITUTION OF HERMIONE GRANGER AND BELATRIZ LESTRANGE

Abstract

The present work proposes to reflect about the dialogical construction of Hermione and Belatriz, in Harry Potter (HP). The goal is to think about the role of these women, taken in the relations they have with the protagonist and the villain, representatives of the hierarchical universe male and vertices of power. Understood the work as a concrete enunciation in your active-responsive character, based on the dialogical studies produced by Bakhtin's Circle, this article looks at how gender, race, and class relations build identities and otherness of women in HP. The relevance of such a study is justified when we consider how much the potter universe reflects and refracts social values, what reveals a historic patriarchal cultural configuration.
