Abstract

In the late 1960s, there was an analysis of content and practical guiding interpretation of texts. Analyst’s role was “decipher” the text and the hidden meaning, reaching their “real” depth. There was the certainty of a truth to be unveiled, disarming a project of significance of the text, revealing what was hidden in terms of signification. Foucault combat this aturalization of knowledges, opposed to the interpretations “evident” and against the essentialisms made possible by the interpretive method of content Analysis. His studies have become fruitful over time for the analysis of speeches from the texts to the speeches which are texts and subjects in the course of the story, revealed while terrain of discontinuities.
