At a historical moment when the “New Left” leaves the theory and begun to dedicate to the revolutionary practice, two young Brazilian intellectuals became of Vanguarda Popular Revolucionária (VPR) wrote documents and debated about the Brazilian Revolution. This article tries to understand the conflicts between two of the most important theorists of the Brazilian guerrilla after the coup of the state in 1964. They are: Ladislaw Dowbor and João Quartim de Moraes, or, as they were called by the codenames, Jamil Rodrigues and Fernando Andrade, respectively.Downloads
