Abstract

The aim of this essay seeks to debate the contemporary concept of subjectivity, based on Felix Guattari (2000), who highlights the difficulties of restoring the subjective city. The model of development and technologies has produced the city in dystopia as a place of little or no sustainability, in which the speculative logic of the market prevails. In this context, the subject loses the relationship with space and understands the city only as an instrument for locomotion, housing, work and forms of consumption, therefore, completely devoid of reflective elements with the place. The methodology used in this essay is in the field of critical theory, taking as theoretical support the Philosophy of Education, as a way of interpreting the training processes. Our conclusion is directly related to presenting our difficulty in breaking this instrumental city model, which segments the subject's relationship with the city's space.
