THE FEMINIST GEOGRAPHIES ON THE COMUM CURRICULAR BASIS: gender discussions, sexuality and raciality in the last years of elementar school

The categories of gender, sexuality and racialities defended by the Feminist Geographies in the construction of knowledge by geographic science are invisible in the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), in view of this limitation, the objective of this work is to investigate themes that allow discussing the dimensions of gender, race and sexuality in the different contents proposed in the BNCC document for the Final Years of Fundamental Education in Geography, as well as understanding how possibilities of insertion of these categories in the discipline of Geography present in the document. The methodology used was theoretical research and document analysis. The methodological path was based on the survey of readings referring to the Feminist Geographies, gender, racialities, sexuality and the Teaching of Geography; reading of the BNCC (focus on the Final Years of Teaching Geography); construction of tables referring to each thematic unit; selection of curricular proposals at BNCC that fit the proposed discussions; presentation of contributions to the BNCC and analysis of the elaborated discussions. The possibilities of inserting these themes, lead to a diversity of reflections through the established markers and the promotion of new knowledge and actions that overcome the limitations imposed on the document.
