ANÁLISE DA QUALIDADE DA ÁGUA NA BACIA HIDROGRÁFICA DO CÓRREGO MANDAQUI, MUNICÍPIO DE SÃO PAULO: um olhar sobre o projeto participativo Observando os Rios

Abstract

This article aims to demonstrate an analysis of the quality of the water in the hydrographic basin of Córrego Mandaqui, with the data made available by the Observing the Rives Project, which has the characteristic of making data available to society on the condition of several water courses, especially areas in which the government does not monitor water quality. Used for Project data used for three monitoring points distributed in the hydrographic basin, field observations and data from the Clean Stream Program of the Basic Sanitation Company of the State of São Paulo (SABESP), that have been countered. Thereby, it was possible to evaluate that the water condition in the hydrographic basin is between bad and very bad, associated with the absence of urban planning and inadequate land use and occupation, with few green areas and high soil impermeability, increasing the surface runoff and decreasing its infiltration.
