BIBLIOMETRIC SURVEY OF LANDSCAPE ANALYSIS STUDIES IN THE BRAZILIAN CERRADO

This scientific article is characterized by a bibliometric analysis, a type of study that is on the rise and that competes with great importance for scientific studies in any area of knowledge. The main objective of this article was to carry out a survey and bibliometric analysis on landscape analysis studies, focusing on the Brazilian Cerrado. also who are the most cited authors and institutions within this theme, in addition to collaboration networks. The methodology was divided into two stages, the first being a bibliographic survey on bibliometrics and physiographic aspects of the Cerrado, and the other referring to bibliometric analysis itself. For this purpose, the Web of Science scientific data platform was used, applying a set of keywords, and for the generation of the final data, the Biblioshiny platform. As a result, there is initially a research return in the amount of 257 scientific articles, with an average total of 18.6 citations per article in the period 1992-2021. From the compiled data, it was observed that the area of concentration that most publishes on this topic refers to Ecology and Environmental Sciences, with articles mostly published in the international journal Plos One, which covers the articles with the highest number of citations. Finally, as a conclusion, the importance of this type of study is highlighted, mainly for theoretical, methodological and forecasting foundations.
