REPRESENTAÇÕES MACABRAS EM MORTE E VIDA SEVERINA

Abstract

The objective that guides our research is to investigate the logical reason behind the representational events of the dramatic poem Morte e Vida Severina, putting in relief the macabre representations. Concerning the methodology used, we chose a documentary study of the Cabral’s work, using as a method of research the Semiotic developed by Charles S. Peirce (2010). Applying this methodology, we aimed to profile the signs of death in the dramatic poem of Cabral, thereby substantiating our research as a kind of taxonomy of the death signs in our corpus of research.
