Keywords:

This article was originally presented as a lecture and it develops a reflection about the ethic´s genealogy of Michel Foucault regarding the subject practice about itself in terms of care and aesthetize of its own body and subjetivity. Those practices are historical productions that modify themselves over time and it is important to know about their own different forms throughout the western culture. In this matter we highlight different ethics experiences in our culture: among the ancient greeks; the Romans in the passage to the Christian era; in Christian culture throughout the feudal period and in modern culture. It remains to us knowing the contemporary ways of care and aesthetization of our own bodies e subjetivities which are the main topic of this analysis.
