RELATIONS BETWEEN DISCOURSE AND POWER-KNOWLEDGE

AN ANALYSIS OF THE GOVERNMENT OF GOIÁS SURVEILLANCE ON SECUNDARISTS STUDENT AND TEACHERS

Abstract

This work has as objetive to do an analysis about the mecanisms of control in many parts of the Goias’ State Government that wanted break the secundarists students’ protests, teachers from the state network, with college students and teachers, against the Social Organizations (OSs, in portuguese) in the education. Considering the news report published by Ponte Jornalismo that publicize the actions of a whatsapp group called “SOS Educação”, that worked as a way of monitoring the occupations in the schools, the analysis is based on Michel Foucault’s works about the relations between power and devices, to talk specifically of the surveillance device as an power technology.
