Abstract

This article aligns with research on text and discourse from the perspective of the Bakhtin Circle (BAKHTIN, 2010; 2011; MEDVIÉDEV, 2012; VOLOCHÍNOV, 2013; 2017), with the aim of

understanding responsively and responsibly the production and circulation of concrete utterances on the Covid-19 pandemic by the Brazilian federal government. For the analysis of concrete enunciative materiality, from the perspective of Bakhtinian dialogism, the work used as corpus pronouncements of the president Jair Bolsonaro in the chronotope of the pandemic of the new coronavirus, seeking to identify the present ideological signs (VOLOCHÍNOV, 2017) or ideologems (MEDVIÉDEV, 2012) that reinforce the traces of necropolitics (MBEMBE, 2016). In conclusion, tried to show how the neoliberal economic ideology, on the one hand, with the anti-isolation, anti-preventive and anti-vaccine negationist ideologies, on the other hand, composed a necropolitical discourse and practice on the part of the Brazilian government, contributing, thus, to the health tragedy we are experiencing, especially in the years 2020 to 2022.
