INTERPRETING THE EFFECTS OF SENSES ON THE “ALINE” COMIC STRIPS

The present article aims to understand the discursive functioning of “Aline” comic strips (by Adão Iturrusgarai, published between 1996-2009 and also resuming its publications in 2014) concerning the understanding on female identity and on issues that comprise the process of emancipation of women. For this, We will mobilize Pecheutiana Discourse Analysis theoretical-methodological notions and knowledge from historical determinations and from conceptions regarding women in Cientific Maternity for such. So, we will rely on authors such as Pêcheux (2009), Freire (2009), Orlandi (2001, 2015, 2016), Santos (2015), among others. Along the interpreting process of the effects of meaning, we came to understand the ideological projections underlying history and the representation of the female subjects.
