THE MEANING EFECTS´ OF LOVE ON THE DISCOURSE FOR HOMOSEXUAL RIGHTS

Abstract

This paper proposes to reflect on the process of signification on the word "love" in the discourses related to the dispute for homosexuals civil-rights´. Through the changing of the meaning of the word love, it aims to understand the constitution of the Subjects by their positions in the discourse. Thus, the Subject is considered as divided by the determination of both ideological and unconscious aspects, and discourse is understood as effects of meaning. So, there is the affiliation to the theory of Discourse Analysis initiated by Michel Pêcheux in France and Eni Orlandi in Brazil. The corpus of this work is the result of the selection of posts from the social network Facebook and links related to these posts as a way to maintain the thematic regularity.
