AUTHOR, FOUNDING DISCOURSE AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF SENSITIVITIES

Abstract

This article discusses the author based on Foucauldian studies (1992, 2015). Santos (2007, 2009, 2011), an author who organizes discourses, proposes a founding discourse, and, in a way, works on the construction of sensitivities. To contribute to the discussion about the concept of “author”, a dialog between Nietzsche (2008, 2012) and Larrosa (2016) is also established to reflect upon the construction of sensitivities and the “resistance to signification.” Therefore, the manners of constructions of theoretical extensions proposed by Santos (2007, 2009, 2011), on one hand, reflect upon the subjects’ sensitivity, creating other interpretations about the reality. On the other hand, they are always incomplete and unfinished because they resist the signification and also require a position by the subjects that operate them in their analysis.
