Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the effects of meaning produced in antifeminist discourses disseminated on the web, derived from laughter, evidencing how the subject position undertakes on a repeatable basis of discourse a new unrepeatable event. As corpus analysis, we start with one of the cartoons that circulated in the 19th century and mid-20TH century and three posts of Facebook page, Women against feminism. For analysis, we are anchored on arquegenealógico method of Foucault (2016) about statement and event and in Bakhtin (1993) about carnavalization. Based on the analysis performed, we found that since the early feminist movements of the 19th century until contemporary times, feminist women were portrayed as ugly, hairy and sexually rejected by man.
