Abstract

This research perfoms a semiolinguistic analysis of the feminine discourses of the spectacle The roses in the garden of Zula, aiming to investigate the sociodiscursive imaginaries presents in the life stories documented by the scenic subjects on the stage. The theoretical-methodological framework is based on Charaudeau's Semiolinguistic Theory (2007; 2008), on Cordeiro's (2005) semioscenic proposition, in the delineation of emerging subjectivities in the contemporary theatrical panorama of Chaves (2007) and studies on life narratives of Machado (2015, 2016). The research pointed out that such discourses anchor knowledge and imaginary capable of criticizing the situation of marginality experienced by women until the present, providing a more autonomous intersubjectiveexperience.
