THE ADOLESCENT OUTSIDE OF DISCOURSE

FROM THE SUBJECT WITHOUT AUTONOMY TO THOSE WHO FIGHT IN/FOR THE OCCUPIED SCHOOLS

Abstract

In this paper, I aim to problematize how teenager subjects have become objects of legal discourse and of other statements of society published in the form of "comments" in news websites in the context of schools' occupations in the second half of 2016. Therefore, I assume as a theoretical-methodological entry the French Discourse Analysis, within a special recurrence to the reflections of the philosopher Michel Foucault. Thus, I am concerned to understand how adolescents are discursivized, becoming an other's objects of discourse that seeks to delimit to these subjects (un)possible forms of existence; of an other that does not stop to question, to delimitate borders, to establish limits, and to impose a desire for "normativity" and "normalization."
