THE SOCIAL MARGINALITY IN A POLAQUINHA AND STELLA MANHATTAN

Abstract

From the second half of 1980 the literature is concerned with portraying the social problems that Brazil faced with the end of the Military Regime. In this sense, this work proposes a reflection on the relationship between social marginality and sexuality, using two works published in 1985, a year that marks the end of the military regime in Brazil. Through the methodology of bibliographic revision, and using theoretical reference of Lauretis (1994), Beauvoir (2009), Spivak (2010) and Sartre (1993) this work aims to shed light on the issue of the social location of subjects, due to their sexual orientation.
