INTERDISCOURSE ABOUT “WORK” IN RURAL UNION MEDIA

Abstract

This article aims to reflect on the discourses about "work" presented in media statements of the rural union, as well as, to identify the interdiscourse emerging from media rural union in relation to "work", produced, managed and published by the printed and electronic newspapers of the Federation of Agricultural Workers in the State of Goiás (FETAEG). The theoretical foundation of the article is based on dialogue between the theorizing of French Discourse Analysis and in the Social Sciences. The research method is from analytical, descriptive and interpretative nature. The corpus chosen to carry out the analyses were texts published in the rural union’s newspapers, managed by the FETAEG and that bring the representation of labour in rural union media topic. The results indicate that the interdiscourse about work expose the socio-historical-ideological values that the workers statement.
