This work aims to present the genre parable as a mediator instrument in the individual literacy process in the Portuguese language teaching. It is a genre that circulates in the school sphere and the religious, it is believed that the Parable may assist the student in your school literacy process. Thus, a didactic transposition proposal genre parable will be analyzed as a teaching object created by Warken and Nascimento (2008). It is taken based on the theoretical framework of Bakhtin (2003); Bronckart (2003); Soares (2004) ; Kleiman (1995) ; Dolz and Schneuwly (1999,2004) ; Gonçalves and Nascimento (2011), among others. However, it is expected that this study supports the teaching work for teaching in parables.
