DISCURSO LITERÁRIO E A CONSTITUIÇÃO DO SUJEITO-PERSONAGEM DORIAN GRAY

Abstract

This work aims at reflecting about the construction of the subject- character Dorian Gray, considering for the work the The picture of Dorian Gray’s literary speech, by the Irish writer Oscar Wilde, once the subject-character is in a conservative Londoner society of the 19th century. At the thought that social conventions facts directly affect who make part of these, the subject-character Dorian Gray makes possible the appreciation in this article which primarily is grounded on Discourse Analysis because the character, as well as the literary speech, is constituted through history, ideologies and senses. In this paper, therefore, through a theoretical and analytical research, we will show the literary discourse characteristics focused on subject-character Doran Gray and his modifications during the work.
