Keywords:
Discourse, Discursive Memory, History, Michel FoucaultAbstract
Approximating discourse and history through Foucault’s thought enables reflections on the evolution of a historic object as well as with the renewed form of studying and revising the past. In this way, perceiving the lyrics of a song as an historical-literary object is envisaging it as an discursive event, immersed in relations of knowledge and power. So, the path to be taken in our reflections will be developed between the French Discourse Analysis and History, observing the literary text as an possibility of reflecting on cultural and social issues. In this study it is our interest in carrying out na discursive analysis of the song “Pecadinhos”, by Zeca Baleiro and Tatá Fernandes, observing how some statements presented in the text subvert the religious discourse to another level of meaning and produce another dialogue with history and memory.
