THE REVOLUTIONARY MARXISM CONSTITUTIVE OF THE MICHEL PÊCHEUX’S THEORY OF DISCOURSE

Abstract

We discuss, in this article, the irretrievable point sets by the revolutionary Marxism constitutive of the materialist theory of discourse created by Michel Pêcheux, that is, the philosophical Marxist struggle for changing the social world and not just interpreting it. Thus, the struggle for transformation of the production relations is not only an academic Marxist concept from Discourse Analyses formulated by Pêcheux, but, exactly, its own reason of existence as theory that intervenes in the class struggles marked in and through language. Our study searches showing some arguments extracted from Pêcheux´s theory that puts at command post, in theory, this irretrievable conception of the revolutionary Marxism: the struggle to change the social world.
