LANDSCAPE GEOECOLOGY AS A METHODOLOGY IN THE FEASIBILITY OF LINEAR PARKS IN URBAN COURSES: notes from studies in Água da Veada, Ourinhos/SP, Brazil

Abstract

The article explicit about the feasibility of landscape geoecology creating linear parks, in urban microbasins, from the study carried out in Água do Veada, located in the municipality of Ourinhos, State of São Paulo, Brazil, whose Master Plan, to guarantee the policies of environmental equity, presents such commitments in Articles 17 and 23. Based on the methodological proposal of Rodriguez (1994), a classic in the triad - planning x landscape x urban -, the work presents methodological paths with concrete actions under a synthesis inventory, based on systemic analysis, from where it was possible to present the diagnosis of the environmental state of the studied urban stream, which holds the proposal for the implementation of linear urban parks by the Master Plan. The obtained results can be observed by thematic mapping and systematic field visits for more detailed analysis of the environmental processes present; besides Cartographic Sketch, simulating the Proposed Linear Park, elaborated from the inventory of the Geoecological Function; Potential Use Capacity; the Socioeconomic and Cultural Function; the Relationship between Potential Capacity and Socioeconomic Function; the Environmental Problematic; as well as the Geoecological Environmental Stat, which classifies the urban landscape environment in optimized, altered or exhausted.
